Solgar’s Omega 3-6-9 Fish, Flax, Borage combines three premium oil sources — fish oil (from anchovy, mackerel and sardines), cold-pressed flaxseed oil, and borage oil — to deliver a broad spectrum of essential and conditionally essential fatty acids in every serving. This carefully formulated blend provides Omega-3s (including EPA and DHA), Omega-6s (including GLA), and Omega-9 fatty acids, supporting a well-rounded fatty acid intake as part of a balanced diet.
DHA and EPA contribute to the normal function of the heart. DHA also contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision. ALA contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. These benefits are obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA, and 2 g of ALA, respectively.
